Factory of Love
It is kind of sad – seeing people to go to dating sites, social networks, etc… Does one really become so desperate at some point that the glaring incongruousness of such agencies does not matter anymore? What I mean is that sheer mass-scale of such things is really disgusting… it imparts a feeling of something mechanical… like a factory. I guess that the “factory of love” would be a catch-word title… manufacturing line... rolling feeders input people who are lonely and desperate or just silly and eager to start something… all this ore moves on conveyor belt to where it is sorted up by sex and age and size and interests and lo! Production line pairs up some of these “units of humanity” and if it did not work, oh well, there are still some spare parts & replacements back on the track, come back and check… is that right?
I know it does not have to be viewed so… One can see these affairs as a sort of super-speed dating, a sort of crude “clustering method” to save up time while looking for someone interesting, who could become a friend or a person with whom one could share something in common. But really, the mood of this is quite depressive…
Why do I write all this? Just a stray thought – what would happen if I find out that a person I really treasure actually goes to places like that? I guess this would be sad but I should try to understand why… I have known people who did it, without much success, but they were lonely girls, who wanted to stop being so… And to succeed in such thing one needs some skills (like web-communication with people?), which by themselves would have prevented one from being lonely in the first place… vicious circle of a kind.
